I came to this website to find a hair style to drive my wife nuts and I run into a bunch of sniveling whiners. No wonder our country is going down the drain. Anyway all you who are appalled at the "RACISM" of this site need an education. Here goes.

By stating someone has "black" or "asian" hair is not suggesting racial superiority. IDIOTS. Learn the f'ing language. Black people call caucasians "that white guy/girl" when talking about caucasians. And asians call black people "that black man/woman" and white people say "that asian girl/guy". It isn't suggesting any negativity towards an entire segment of society, it's just a way to describe someone such as "the coach" or "the idiot who sits in the cubicle next to you" or "the smokin' hotty next to the bald guy" there just descriptive terms not a slam on your individual ethnic group. Your "normal" refers to who you are, everyone else is described.
And ya I'm one of the elite white guys who made your life miserable even though we never met. Get over it, you got Oboma at the top so it kinda throws that whole racism argument out the window.

The section is there for the convienience of those navigating the site. There are many different styles for black men to choose from, as there are for white men, but most most of them do not overlap. Navigate through a site that does not have them seperated and tell me how much longer it takes to find pics of the 34 styles for black men shown here. Get over it. It's 2008, not the 60's.

ok, first of all, the reason they have two seperate sections for asian and black men is because they have completely different types of hair. Ok, then they should probably put a label on the other ones saying "white" but since they didnt, its not going to do n e good sitting here and complaining about it. I am white, and personally, i would love to have black or asian hair, because they can have some totally awesome hairstyles that no other race can have because of the texture of their hair, so shut up. and some of the BEST hairstyles on here are under those two sections so stop whinning.

My comments have nothing to do with race or politics, but hair styles differ with the person who has them and some people look good having there heads shaved. Well all I wanted was a regular hair cut. That isn't what I received instead my hair was thinend out on both sides and left some what long on the top. It looked awful. I payed the barber, but afterwords when I really looked at my hair I became so angry that I wanted to go back and slap the hell out of the barber. Yet some of the worst hair styles that I see on some people is this type of hair cut or the hair being short and looking like some one smeared brillo cream on the top and then messed it up. How can a person think that a hair style like that looks good on them. It looks awful, but this is the knew craze. Personally I liked the hair styles for men and women that were popular during the late 1960's and the 1970's. Bring back the styles of that era, too hell with the 90's, and the year 2000. People in this day and age are stupid.

it shouldn't be viewed as a racist issue. it is well known that hair of black people and asian people are much different than those of other races and that it is pertinent and useful to be able to identify the hairstyles as such. it is not racist, just a fact that those hair styles would be much more difficult to achieve naturally on someone who doesnt already have hair of that texture/nature. it would be ignorant and racist to ignore that and think that we all fit into one category.

Look, Black men tend to have very curly hair.
Asian men tend to have very straight hair.
The 'other' hairstyles that people are categorizing as Caucasian are basically for the in-betweens. This group includes Latinos, Caucasians, Middle Easterners, and tons of other ethnic groups. There's no need to split them up seperately, though, because all those groups tend to have hair that is mostly straight or kinda wavy. It's also very manageable hair capable of various styles and that's what those categories represent.

Personally I don't think it's a racist site. I mean, when I search for hairstyles I google "asian hairstyles" because:
1.) Asian hair is a different texture and thicker than caucasian hair, just as caucasian hair is different from african people's hair. So some styles work, some may be more difficult.
2.) There are trends in Asia that are different from trends in America or elsewhere. So of course it would be logical to search for certain types of hair.
I don't think the site is trying to tell you that only black guys should have this style, and white guys should have that style either. Anyway, if you let other people dictate what kind of hair you should have, then that's kind of weak. Use it as the helpful resource it is and nothing else.
In parting I would like to say thanks a bunch man, I was looking for tuxedo hairstyles everywhere and couldn't find any good ones 'til I found your site.

Identifying the ethnic men and their hairstyles and not identifying the caucasians as white man styles, is very racist. There sre men of all ethnicities that can wear any of the styles. The real problem is that crazy white people are so full of themselves that they do not realise they are being racists. Everybody in America that does not have white skin will be sub humanly classified, it is white supremacy ideation, white ignorance, THE WHITE AMERICAN WAY. I totally agree with the post below me. My cousin is from Haiti which is not anywhere near Africa. People will call me white but I don’t blow up demanding pinpoint political correctness saying “I AM NOT WHITE, I AM IRISH AMERICAN!”. Or to be even more accurate (because I am Black Irish) I don’t demand being called Irish/Spanish American. Why? Because how can I expect a stranger to know that about me? And it is hypocritical for anyone to demand political correctness but then automatically categorizing all black people as African. Now as far as the original post which states this site being racist. The REASON they make that distinction is for the convenience of those who are black and have a very significantly different hair type. I mean they could make it harder by categorizing it under short or long Men’s hair but then a Man who does not give a damn about white people’s hair would have to sift through styles that are useless to them. How about you go to all the “African-American” labeled hair websites and demand that they do not put any labels on their sites pertaining to race? They wont do it because just like all the African American labeled Hair Shops and Solons they do it so that people do not waste time looking for them, or so people without that kind of hair would not make the mistake of going their only to find out they cannot help them. Stop living your life looking for every possible reason to see racism in everyone and everything just so that you can feel outraged and “stand up” against the system.
