You don't hve to be mixed to do this... Lol just go and get this gel called Eco styling gel first u put a conditioner on ur hair then put the gel on and it will look like he has it all day go search the gel on YouTube guys.. You'll see (women mostly have the videos up about it tho...)

Grow it long (maybe 6inches), then, when showering, detangle your hair using a brush and conditioner. Once detangled, rinse out the conditioner whilst using an afro comb to give it a little bit of frizz and body. Once rinsed and combed. Shake your hair in the water until curly like this. Then dry very gently to prevent the frizz coming back, and keep shaking as it dries.

It's leave in conditioner and alot of shaking about till its dry you do this til your natural curl takes over. But remember your only supposed to shampoo a fro once a week as our hair holds more chemicals. I tend to rinse my hair every other day with water only. It is easy to look after and you dont realy have to worry about your canerows or fro getting wet.
I havent tried using fizz ease in braided hair but that seems like a good idea to help soften the curls but I woudn't suggest doing this often. Chemicals are dangerous no matter what.

What is the process of obtaining such style...e-mail me at [email protected].
Thanks
if you are mixed race then when your hair get to that length it'll look like this ut any pressure on it like leaning on it will flatten. full back hair types grow your hair then braid, while in braids use some frizz ease serum which basically relax's your hair a little but as its in braids it will still retain a good amount of curl, then take out your braids, wash, and let it dry naturally thats what gives it this amount of volume or you could dry it with a hair dryer for maximum effect.

He could have had his hair braided first and took it out that's one possible way.

You think it's the length of the hair giving it the weight to hang like that? How do you make loose coils like that?
